Game environment made in Unreal Engine 4 with focus on complex UE4 shaders and Particles. Sci-fi magnetic reactor located in a space station on a unknown planet with the purpose to hide a powerful weapon. The idea for this project was born from my passion for videogames like Destiny and Starcraft. To develop the environment I have used as references the concept arts from amazing artists such as jimmartindesign.artstation.com and darrenbacon.artstation.com. For the weapon workflow I have acted on tips from emre-karabacak.artstation.com interview released to 80 level where he is explaining how to approach and develop a weapon. It was really useful especially because I had a tight deadline to present the project (modelling the low poly, sculpting the high poly, texturing and animating took me 8 days). I've modeled all the low poly meshes in Maya, made the high poly in Zbrush and baked them in Substance. Also I'd like thanking thomasharle.artstation.com who mentored me in vfx.

This shader uses a scaling Distance Field Sphere as a mask transition the opacity.

I've spent a lot of time in UE4 sequencer, where I've learned a lot about how use MPC and trigger effect inside the engine.
Moreover I've also learned so much about particles effect, and complex shader.
